The Building Operator Awareness Information Guide is designed to provide custodians and other staff in your school’s with introductory information on complex topics related to the efficient operation of their school buildings and equipment with the net result of resource conservation of energy, water and management of waste.

This program is a practical, occupant-driven, activity-based program that brings environmental education alive in our North American schools. A cooperative team of students, teachers, principals, custodians and parents work together through a multi-year program designed to increase sustainability by helping schools conserve resources and protect the environment.
